Yin vs. Yang - What Does it Mean?
The Yin vs. Yang concept I have researched books over the years, searching for books that could explain Oriental medical philosophy in understandable terms. The closest I have come so far is a book called Between Heaven and Earth by Harriet Beinfield, L.Ac. and Efrem Kornfold, L.Ac., O.M.D. and Practical Feng Shui by Simon Brown Personally, I don't think Oriental philosophy should be so daunting but it sure seems to be! I think everyone should work towards understanding each other's cultures so we can integrate and utilize information better and with more clarity. I like using whatever works, no mater where it comes from and I think we can integrate all kinds of techniques.

I remember sailing a yacht just off the coast and looking back at a city of 250, 000 inhabitants and was struck by the brown layer in the atmosphere that lay over the town. You would not have recognised this layer had you been walking through the streets of the town but there it was nevertheless. The pollutants are minute, almost invisible microbes able to penetrate our bodies through the pores of our skin and are sucked into our lungs as we breathe. If germs can enter your body through very small openings, how much more the exposure where viruses can easily enter?
Pinworms: Intestinal Parasites
Pinworms are also called seat worms, or threadworms (species Enterobius, or Oxyuris, vermicularis). They belong to the order Oxyurida (phylum Aschelminthes). Pinworms are common human intestinal parasites and are also found in other vertebrates. Male pinworms are about 2 to 5 mm (0.08 to 0.2 inches) long while the female ones range from 8 to 13 mm. Pinworms are basically small, white worms that live in the intestines. The name reminds us of the long tails of the worms which gives them a pin like appearance. Pinworm infections are quite common in young children and are easily treated. Pinworms usually occur in the large intestine but sometimes are also found in the small intestine, the stomach, or farther up the gastrointestinal tract.
