It sounds so simple but most of us are completely unaware of our breath. Practice tuning into your breath throughout your day.

What Causes Foot Odor?

Some people couldn't care less what causes foot odor. They just want to get rid of it. Other people are interested in what causes foot odor precisely because they figure they have a better chance of getting rid of it if they know what causes it. Either way, foot odor is the end result of a chain reaction of events that take place on your feet. It can happen to people of all ages. I have even heard moms say that one or more of their kids had stinky feet from infancy! It has been a problem throughout the ages ever since people began wearing shoes. Even Roman soldiers had remedies - and they wore sandals! The human body hosts many species of bacteria, some of which live, thrive, and multiply in a warm, moist environment such your warm sweaty feet snugly encased inside your socks and shoes.

Your Water Faucet Doesn t Always Give You Clean Drinking Water

When you turn on the faucet to get yourself a glass of water or fill up a pot to cook your family's meal you may be under the impression you are using the purest drinking water. This is not always true. There are many hidden chemicals and toxins that prevent you from having clean drinking water. What's Hiding in Your Water Supply? These contaminants enter the water supply in a number of ways such as sewage or industrial runoff and by contaminants leeching into the groundwater supply.

Fitness - The Great Equalizer

One of the most rewarding things about being a fitness trainer is empowering someone to accomplish their goals and watching them do it. Everyone has a different reason for embracing a fitness lifestyle, but the outcomes are pretty much always the same. The person feels better and has more confidence because the body they live in is vibrant, healthy and able. One thing's for sure, mentoring someone to transform is great fun. My husband Dave and I live in an interesting community. It is full of "expats" (people who do not live in their home culture). As such, my fitness clients are from everywhere. This makes for interesting communication challenges and requires some different mentoring and leadership skills.

Causes of Post Nasal Drip

Post nasal drip is so called because it has the sensation of a runny nose flowing backward towards the throat. This is caused by excessive mucus accumulating in the throat or the back of the nose. The cause of the excessive mucus production could be from rhinitis, sinusitis, other throat infections, allergies, or gastroesophageal reflux. Among other things, chronic post nasal drip can cause halitosis or bad breath. For a correct diagnosis it is necessary for a complete and detailed ear, nose, throat exam with possible laboratory endoscopic exams and x-ray. Of course, the cure is dependent on the cause of post nasal drip. Specific measures would be prescribed for allergies, infections and gastroesophageal reflux.

PND As A Cause of Bad Breath

Halitosis, or bad breath as it is commonly known, is a repulsive condition that most of us would never want to have. There are many causes of bad breath and one of them is post nasal drip or PND. It can also be caused by irritation to pollution.
